River pet resort & rehab was a vision that became a reality when we realized there was a need to bring high quality veterinary supervised pet services to our busy suburban area. River pet is a resort for your pet with luxury boarding accommodations, day camp, fitness programs and a physical rehabilitation center. We have created a center for wellbeing for pets that can be part of their everyday life. Our goal is to provide our guests at river pet with an enjoyable experience designed with each pet's age and lifestyle in mind. We offer active play as well as pampering for our guests. Dogs can socialize and swim. Cats can play and nap. We can accommodate geriatric pets, as well as those with medical problems.
River pet is designed and run by veterinarians who strive to assure your pet receives optimal care throughout their stay. We are located a few doors away from Animal General Veterinary Hospital and can provide immediate emergency care for any pet that needs medical attention during their stay. River pet's physical rehabilitation and fitness programs include veterinary consultations and programs tailored to your pet's needs. We offer therapeutic exercises, massage, acupuncture, swimming, land and water treadmill exercises, neuromuscular electrical stimulation and therapeutic ultrasound. River pet is working to merge the worlds of spa and fitness with boarding by creating a naturally inviting environment for your pet to stay in while you are away. Eco-friendly materials were used in our construction. We have slip resistant flooring and an extensive air purification system to provide a healthful and comfortable environment for our guests. River pet resort will integrate physical and mental activity to prevent boredom while you are away, with relaxation time and TLC provided by our staff who are committed to making your pet's stay a positive experience.
