Proof of vaccinations must be received at our office at least 24 hours prior to your pet's arrival at river pet. Records can easily be faxed from your veterinarian's office to our fax # 201-945-8585. Please ask your veterinarian's office to allow river pet to access your pet's health records in case we have any questions about the information that is faxed.
Canine Health Requirements:

If vaccinations, testing and flea and tick preventative application are not complete prior to arrival, they will be administered by Animal General and charged to the owner. We will have a price list available for these services when you arrive.
"Doctor's note" to excuse a pet from the above health requirements must be approved by river pet prior to boarding.
We welcome pets of all shapes and sizes. However we are unable to accommodate aggressive pets at river pet resort.
Dogs must be people friendly. Day-Camp dogs must be neutered or spayed and dog friendly. Day-Camp dogs must be pre-qualified. Please call to schedule an initial visit.
You may fill out our registration form ahead of time and email or fax it back to us, to save time upon your arrival.
You are welcome to bring your pet's personal items. However they must be labeled and we cannot be responsible if they are damaged or lost.
Pricing
Please call or email us for pricing information. We offer Day Camp and Boarding packages. We accept visa, MC, Amex and checks (with a driver's license). Payment is required upon checking out. We are happy to accommodate guests for extended periods of time. However, if your pet is staying with us for more than three weeks, your account must be paid in full every three weeks. Please note we have higher boarding and day camp rates around holidays. These rates may apply three days before and after each holday date.

Reservations
Reservations are recommended for Boarding and Day Camp. A one night deposit is required at the time of booking for boarding. Deposits are refundable if cancellations are made no later that 48 hours prior to arrival for boarding and 4 days in advance for holidays.
Consultation for Physical Rehabilitation and Fitness
Evaluation for physical rehabilitation by the veterinarian are by appointment only. The doctor will spend approximately one hour with you and your pet. During that time the doctor will perform a thorough physical examination, review your pet's medical records and discuss and plan your pet's treatment with you. Please have your regular veterinarian or the specialist referring your pet fill out our referral form (we can send them the form and they can fax or email it back). Please send all records available prior to your appointment by fax or email. Pleas bring x-rays with you the day of your appointment.
We will fully evaluate your pet's health and correspond with your referring veterinarian to coordinate patient care.
Physical rehab treatments and fitness sessions
A deposit may be required prior to starting a rehab or fitness plan for your pet. You will receive an estimate of anticipated expenses and we will try to meet your financial and scheduling needs as much as possible.
